2011 Schedule Posted

February 16 - Winter blues starting to get to you?  Ready for some fresh air, great company and fun times on the weekend?  Maybe this will get you excited.  I just posted a first draft of our racing schedule which includes 96 races!  Check it out here.

No, we can't make all 96 - only because we can't be at three tracks at the same time on the same night!

I'd give you an update on the status of the cars, but I don't really know yet.  I started a new job a few months ago which has kept me hopping.  Matthew started college in January while still being a Senior at Goddard High.  He will graduate high school in May with a great start on college.  He also started a new part-time job.  And, he has a full-time Rylee so not sure when he'll finish getting his SportMod ready.  But, he does plan to race a limited schedule when he can this year.

Jacob finished wrestling and is trying out for golf.  He is also working with his Dad to get his Hobby Stock ready.  He is definitely excited about moving into IMCA this year and we are all going to dedicate this Rookie year to focus on his class.  So, Steve is in the shop right now working on the Hobby Stock while Jacob is at Catechism.  He gets confirmed in a couple of weeks.

As you can see on the schedule, the first race is March 26 - weather permitting of course.  I'm told I better get started making stickers.  Uncle Rich donated the paint.  We are going back to orange.  A lot easier to spot the car and Red seems to appreciate shooting pics of the orange over the white.  So, I'll try to get back in the groove of posting and get some pics soon of the cars.  In the meantime, check out the schedule and start marking your calendars.  I hope we see you at the races!
