August 30 - It was definitely a good night and worth all the work.  For the tenth time this season, Matthew came in 2nd.  He was on the tail of BJ and got under him once letting him know he was there.  On the final lap in 3 and 4, Matthew put it in as far down as he could to try to get under BJ.  He actually hit the tires that line the in field.  He said he hit every one of those tires.  He did an outstanding job.  The race started out with a pack of cars that took a while to separate.  There was a lot of 3 wide racing.

We got to watch Randy take his modified from 20th to 6th place.  It was a great race to watch.  Overall, just a fun evening and a lot of laughs.  Great finish and nothing tore up.  Couldn't ask for more.  That was the last race at Wakeeney for the year.

Next weekend starts on Friday night at Hays then Goodland and then Colby to complete our memorial day weekend rally.  You can bet the boys will spend the week getting ready.
